RMAE.CO was created for clients who care about the experience behind the event.
The way guests are welcomed. The way a dinner unfolds. The way a place, a culture, a family, or a tradition is honored without feeling overly expected. The way every detail feels considered, but never overworked.
We plan destination weddings and celebrations for people who want beauty, yes, but also depth, ease, atmosphere, and a point of view.
The story starts with people.
Before RMAE.CO, there were school dances in Boston public middle schools.Not exactly the start of a luxury destination planning firm, but honestly, a perfect beginning.
Because before the villas, the welcome parties, the international timelines, and the candlelit tablescapes, the heart of this work was the same: bringing people together and making them feel something.
That early experience taught our founder how to read a room, manage competing needs, think quickly, and create a moment that felt special to the people inside it.
The settings have changed. The purpose has not.
Meet Niara
Niara is the founder and principal planner of RMAE.CO.
Based between Long Island, New York and Anchorage, Alaska, she has always been drawn to contrast: city and wild, structure and spontaneity, polish and play, tradition and reinvention.
Her path into events led her to train at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and later refine her craft under the mentorship of Kay Northrup, where she became COO and Lead Event Producer.
Today, she brings that background into every RMAE.CO celebration with a style that is calm, discerning, resourceful, and deeply people-centered.
She is the person making the plan, reading between the lines, calling the vendor, spotting the gap, fixing the thing, and somehow making it all feel easy.
